Dominik Hasek

DOMINIK HASEK The DOMINATOR has been the Sabres saviour. Without him we could not have won our division last year. This is why he was league MVP, winner of the Vezina Trophy, first team all-star last year and voted starter with the World team this year. He simply won the skills competition for the world team. All the North American team needed was one goal out of five shots. "The Dominator" shut the door as he has been doing all this year while averaging 33 shots in his Thirteen shutouts. He also had the most shots against with 2150 and a league leading save percentage of .930 . Looks like he has done it again for the MVP and Vezina. Ya gotta love him. All he has to do now is lead his team to a Stanley Cup victory and win the Consmyth Trophy.

Hasek it doing it in the playoffs. You don't hear anyone saying he is giving up on his team this year. He is also getting help from all his teammates as well. It's a wonderful year to be a Sabres fan as they drive to the cup finals.

Hasek at last years all star game where he belongs, he has an unorthadox style not many goalies use (or would want to use), dispite this and his horrendous stickwork he is the best goalie in the league. Just ask the other players (Lester B. Pearson Award)or look at his Olympic Gold medal.

	Hasek has quite a unique style of goaltending. The old school would frown on his unorthadox flopping add that to his paddle move and you have a .930 save percentage.

Hasek can see everywhere.
